The triumphal market of Via Andrea Doria has been a reality since 11 March 2009, the day of the inauguration, but already a month before at least one hundred of the 273 traders had been able to take advantage of their own counter within the market.

Discovering the benches

It was born on Viale Giulio Cesare at the end of the nineteenth century.
For years it was a place of transit for those who went hunting or out of town and stopped by horse or wheelchair to refresh the animals and the people.

At that time the center of Rome was distant, here there was only countryside, but then in the 30s the market was moved to via Andrea Doria, a very popular area, but which, over the years, slowly turned into an area elegant and its nature in the market is still found today,  in fact it is always extremely convenient but also highly sought after.

Among the stalls you can find excellent products that are difficult to find in large-scale distribution, because here customers are demanding and all have a deep food culture.

The counters are manned by real professionals and hard workers, who bring their products to the market every day or the best possible selection, but always paying close attention to price.

Since March 2009, this beautiful, very modern structure, made of steel, concrete and glass, has been built with a large parking lot, which can accommodate over 400 benches, although 273 are active at this time. So you can imagine the huge amount of people working in the market, we have estimated over 500 and all with clear ideas: offer the best at the best possible price, because the competition is strong in the area, but they know perfectly that with quality you always win.
